Meet The Team
Kaitlyn – Kaitlyn is a licensed dental hygienist and proud graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. She is certified in the administration of local anesthesia and brings several years of hands-on experience in the dental field. Before becoming a hygienist, Kaitlyn worked as both a receptionist and dental assistant alongside her father, Dr. Edward Villarreal—giving her a well-rounded understanding of patient care from every angle.
Kaitlyn works closely with Dr. Villarreal to ensure each patient feels comfortable and well cared for during their visit. She is passionate about patient education and enjoys helping others understand the importance of good oral hygiene and preventive care.
In 2025 and 2026, Kaitlyn was honored to be voted Best Dental Hygienist in the Tribune-Star Readers’ Choice Awards—a testament to her dedication and the trust she’s built with her patients.
Outside of the office, Kaitlyn loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys working out, playing volleyball, and making lasting memories with her family.
Rebekah – Rebekah has been a dedicated member of Dr. Villarreal’s team since 2010 and brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her role as a dental hygienist. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is licensed in dental hygiene and certified to administer local anesthesia, allowing her to provide comprehensive and comfortable care to her patients.
Rebekah is passionate about oral health education and takes pride in helping her patients understand the importance of proper dental care and how it impacts their overall well-being. Her gentle approach, attention to detail, and dedication to building lasting relationships have made her a favorite among patients of all ages.
Originally from Montana, Rebekah moved to the Wabash Valley shortly after graduating and has loved making it her home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children, whether they’re exploring the outdoors, attending local events, or simply enjoying family time together.
Bonnie – Bonnie has been a valued member of Dr. Villarreal’s team since 2016, serving as our receptionist and patient coordinator. She’s the friendly face who greets you when you walk through our doors and is always ready to assist with a smile. Whether you have questions about scheduling, insurance, or your treatment plan, Bonnie is your go-to resource. Her knowledge of dental insurance and patient care makes her an essential part of keeping the office running smoothly.
Bonnie is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with an Associate Degree in Dental Assisting. With many years of experience in the dental field, including time spent working chairside, she brings both clinical and administrative expertise to our team.
Outside the office, Bonnie enjoys spending time with her husband. She’s a proud mother of two and a very proud grandmother of two—who she absolutely loves to spoil.
Tana – Tana has been a loyal member of Dr. Villarreal’s team for over 20 years. Now working remotely from her home in Wisconsin, Tana focuses solely on verifying insurance for our patients. Her behind-the-scenes work ensures that coverage details are accurate and up to date, helping make every visit run smoothly.
Tana is a graduate of Maranatha University with an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science (1992) and is currently finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. While she primarily works virtually, you may occasionally see her smiling face at the front desk during a visit to the office.
In her free time, Tana enjoys spending time with her three children and going on fun family trips.
Brianna – Brianna is one of the newest members of our dental family, bringing enthusiasm, compassion, and a strong commitment to patient care. She began her journey in dentistry in 2021 and quickly advanced to become a certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant just a year later. She is licensed in taking dental radiographs and certified in Zoom Whitening.
Brianna is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair, always aiming to create a positive and stress-free experience during their visit.
Outside of the office, Brianna enjoys spending time with her husband and their four boys. She’s always up for an adventure—whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or taking spontaneous road trips. When she’s not with her family, she’s often traveling across the Midwest to assist dentists in providing care to our military service members—something she is incredibly proud to be a part of.
Erica – Erica has been a licensed dental hygienist since 2000 and joined our team in March 2024. While she does not work full-time, Erica is a familiar face in our office—consistently subbing with us and stepping in to provide excellent patient care whenever needed. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and brings over 20 years of experience to the dental chair.
Erica is passionate about educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene and is known for her calm, caring approach. Her goal is always to make patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health.
Outside of work, Erica keeps busy as a proud mother of five and a dedicated cross country coach. Whether she’s cheering from the sidelines or spending time with her family, Erica brings energy and heart to everything she does.
